LOVE Artist Open Studios

24/06/2014

Busy right now and excited as Peterborough Artist Open Studios begins next weekend. Its one of my favourite events as its an opportunity for people to visit my studio where I am at my most creative painting my bright happy masterpieces….. I take the view that you are visiting my working studio and that is what you get with a little tidying and sorting out beforehand to show off my work and that of my gorgeous long-time conservationist friend/artist Lynne Collins. Lynne and I met whilst both working as wildlife conservationists and you know that true connection you get with some people…thats us…so even if no-one came to see us we would have a great weekend catching up, creating and loving what we do…..

Why do we love open studios…for us its about the lovely visitors who come to see what we do and talk about what we do and have tea and yummy cakes…we love the sociability of our studio which is relaxed and welcoming…visitors words not ours…..Do not expect a formal exhibition…this is about getting to know the artists and we are not formal people…..For visitors its your chance to meet the artists and talk about art that interests you as well as be inspired by what you see as well as buy that beautiful mood enhancing inspiring piece of art that you love for your home or office!

Please see what previous visitors have said:

“Happy paintings…the way we felt about the David Hockney exhibition”
